World Class

World Class is a unique company in the Icelandic market. No other company offers such a wide range of fitness options. The company operates 18 fitness centers, 2 spa facilities with beauty and massage services, and 4 fitness clubs. Membership grants access to 8 swimming pools.

World Class sought the help of Kolibri at a turning point. Their website was on a CMS that was nearing its end. Plans were in place to adopt new solutions to enhance and improve self-service. It was time to standardize and simplify the user experience, and refresh the brand on the web.

Kolibri designed and produced the website in collaboration with World Class, Abler, and Noona.

World Class aimed to make the new website the first point of contact for new and repeat customers. The idea was that the website could become the best and most productive sales and service representative of the company.

The challenge was to design a website that was both user-centered and sales-promoting. A website that efficiently utilizes ready-made solutions and interfaces, while at the same time offering a comprehensive and seamless experience across these solutions.

New and improved services

Continuous improvement

In the journey that began in late 2022, there are many changes that improve customer service and increase self-service. Some of these were implemented before the website was launched.

Among them are:

- A new booking system (Noona) for massages, treatments, and spa services
- An online store (Shopify) for WCGW and other World Class product lines
- A new registration system (Abler) for open sessions and workouts
- A new tech stack, content management system, and cloud hosting.

A website that achieves its goals

With the new website, numerous goals have been achieved that have improved customer service and access to information, and made delivery of customer service more efficient.

  • It is easy to find all content being searched for. The entire navigation system and structure are service-oriented.
  • The design and user experience are integrated, independent of the different systems used to serve customers.
  • The website is fast and scales well on smartphones.
  • It is easy for the World Class team to add and modify content. Service messages are prominently placed, making it easy to quickly deliver them to customers.
